A Promise Made is A Promise Kept
Our promises to serve the needy will never cease. Since 2009, Sakinah Medical Outreach has provided free healthcare services to the less privileged and in 10 years, over 1000 individuals have benefited from our various medical intervention programmes. Our vision is to make quality healthcare accessible to all, regardless of social class, wealth or socio-economic status.
In a bid to fulfill this, Sakinah Medical Outreach has partnered with several organisations in the past to help run our community medical outreach. This year, Sakinah Medical Outreach in partnership with the Kwara State Association of Nigeria North America Inc. and the Kwara State Government is organising a 10-day community medical outreach programme (5 days each for screening and actual surgical exercises) which focuses on providing free healthcare checkups, screening exercise and surgical procedures with beneficiaries drawn from across the state.
The truth remains that the state of healthcare system in Nigeria requires urgent attention, at Sakinah Medical Outreach, our medical volunteers work tirelessly to help improve this situation. And thanks to the generosity of public spirited individuals that work with us in cash and kind.
Our appreciations goes to all our partners who have done so much to make this event a reality. Most especially, Professor Wale Sulaiman, a universally renowned neurosurgeon, and a member of our Board of Advisory, for his priceless efforts in leading this campaign.
Finally, our profound gratitude goes to our generous donors. The generous donors who put the needy at heart enable us to fulfill our aspiration of giving hope, sharing love and kindness through the important and life-saving services we provide to the needy.
Join us in praying for those in need and those fulfilling the rights of the needy. Join us today to do much more.
You can also join us to touch more lives today.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“…Whoever meets the needs of his brother, Allah will meet his needs, and whoever relieves a Muslim of some distress, Allah will relieve him of some of the distress of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever conceals (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will conceal him (his faults) in this world and the next.”
(Bukhari)
This is indeed inspiring. A priceless contribution to humanity. Good bless everyone at Sakinah Medical Outreach.
