The district head of Kakuri Community, Kaduna South Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Alhaji Shehu Tijjani, has commended Sakinah Medical Outreach and Dankofa Foundation for providing essential healthcare services directly to members of the community.
He described the initiative as a significant contribution to the well-being of the people, particularly vulnerable residents who may face difficulties accessing healthcare services.
The district head made this known today at an ongoing medical outreach organized by the two organizations at the district head’s office in Kakuri Community.
Alhaji Shehu, who is also the Ciroman Zazzau, said access to healthcare could sometimes be difficult, particularly for vulnerable members of the community, making initiatives that provide free medical tests and medication especially valuable.
He expressed gratitude to Sakinah Medical Outreach and Dankofa Foundation for choosing the community for the outreach, saying their intervention demonstrated genuine concern for the health and welfare of the people.
The district head also praised the medical team and volunteers who contributed their time and expertise to the programme, stressing that their efforts went beyond providing medical treatment to giving hope and improving the quality of life of beneficiaries.
“I sincerely appreciate both organizations for this laudable humanitarian initiative. The provision of free medical tests and free drugs is a significant contribution to the well-being of our people.
“I also commend the medical team and all the volunteers who have devoted their time and expertise to making this programme possible. Your service is not only about medicine; it is also about giving hope and improving the quality of life of our people,” he said.
Alhaji Shehu encouraged beneficiaries to take the health advice provided by the medical personnel seriously and to continue seeking appropriate medical attention whenever necessary.
He also prayed for God’s blessings on the organizations, medical team, volunteers, and all those who contributed to the success of the outreach.
