We are pleased to share Sakinah’s 2020 Annual Report with you.

Like many organizations, much of our 2020 work focused on COVID-19 — from helping individuals in dire need of medical intervention, distribution of relief materials to the vulnerable members of the community during the lockdown, and creating awareness about the COVID-19.

This report highlights that work and those we provided to those in medical emergencies. The activities at Sakinah Medical Outreach from January to December 2020 touched on all the areas of our focus, and more. 2020 was a period when our operations, similar to other organizations, were highly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The report covers in detail, activities that were undertaken by the organisation, records of beneficiaries, and illustrations of the demographic features of the beneficiaries.

As we look to achieve our goal to provide free quality healthcare services to the less privileged, we hope you take a moment to reflect on some of our 2020 accomplishments as summarized in this report — and that you, like us, will feel inspired and hopeful that ultimately, we can find ways to create a more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive healthcare system.

We are grateful to those whose Zakat and donations ensured that despite the unprecedented challenges of 2020, we all came together to assist those in need.
