Give More, Gain More

Who is he that will loan to Allah a beautiful loan, which Allah will double unto his credit and multiply many times?

Surah Baqarah, 224.

Just imagine that tomorrow you begin to feel ill and rush to the hospital where you are eventually diagnosed with a horribly debilitating and probably incurable disease. Within a week your body and mind have deteriorated drastically. You cannot dress for yourself. You have difficulty getting out of a chair or walking at all. You have no control over your bowels. You literally lack the sense to come in out of the rain or not wander into traffic. You are a danger to yourself and require a full-time caregiver, one or more people of infinite patience and devotion who can turn their own lives into the handling of your life 24-7. And what if there is nobody who can do that for you? What if you are on your own?

And then what if there is someone, a single person, who can do everything you require and more, and be grateful for the opportunity to do it, do it with joy and love, and slowly restores your faculties so that over a period of time you gradually regain your mental and physical abilities? What would your gratitude be to such a person? Would it be measurable?

A lot of people who are in similar situations as the ones described above, adults and kids, have applied for assistance from Sakinah Medical Outreach. We are gravely in shortage of fund to respond to these credible and urgent cases. Yet these applicants urgently need assistance and are hopeful of your helping hand and your generosity. If you cannot be around a sick person to provide the needed 24-7 care, let your resources do the work for you. The Sakinah Medical Outreach team is comprised entirely of humanitarians who have dedicated their time and resources to help those in need feesebililahi. They bring onto the job unusual passion, professionalism and sacrifice that have touched human lives. We travel far and wide to see patients, to assess community needs, offer advice and reassurances. At times, the only assurance we can offer is that Insha Allah help is coming.

Please donate generously to Sakinah Medical Outreach today. Right now there are sick and needy patients calling our helpline, and we simply can’t look the other way. “Whoever Saved A Life, It would be as if they saved the life of all mankind” (Qur’an 5:32)
