Shakirat Temitope Akinwunmi Balogun, a 41-year-old mother, is suffering from chronic kidney failure and needs a kidney transplant urgently. The cost of the kidney transplant is estimated at N40,000,000 (Forty Million Naira).

For months, Shakirat and her family have endured the pain, uncertainty, and overwhelming financial burden of treatment and dialysis. Today, that burden has become far too heavy for the family to bear alone.

At the request of the family, Sakinah Medical Outreach is mobilizing support to cover half of the total surgery cost, N20,000,000 (Twenty Million Naira), to give Shakirat a fighting chance at life.

To date, we have mobilized only N1,311,700.
