Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:

“The one who relieves the distress caused by a worldly grief of a believer, Allah will relieve him of one of the distresses of the Day of Judgement”.

Last month we commenced on our annual medical outreach, where we reach out to those living in deprived communities and improve their access to quality free healthcare.

In partnership with the Kwara State Association of Nigeria North America Inc. and Kwara State Government, we hope to reach out to those in need in Kwara State, Nigeria. Our community medical outreach has two phase; free screening and medical check up, and the surgery stage. The first phase took place in 3 different location (Ajase Ipo, Tsaraji and Okelele primary healthcentre) started last month (27th of August) and ended 5 days later (31st of August), and witnessed over 100 participants from all locations.

The second phase (the surgery stage) would start from 23rd to 27th of September, which is just few days away. You can join us in making this year a fulfilled one for those in need.

“…Whoever meets the needs of his brother, Allah will meet his needs, and whoever relieves a Muslim of some distress, Allah will relieve him of some of the distress of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever conceals (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will conceal him (his faults) in this world and the next.”
