Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
It is with great pleasure that I, as the Chairman of Sakinah Medical Outreach (SMO), announce our upcoming medical mission, an important milestone in our annual event calendar. This mission is a service to our great nation and our humble contribution to the well-being of Nigerians, irrespective of their background.
For 16 years, Sakinah Medical Outreach, aided by the unwavering support of our esteemed donors, partners, and volunteers, has provided free medical care to over 13,000 Nigerians, in Nigeria and also in countries like Germany, India and Turkey, as well as medical education to millions more. We are proud of this legacy and our unrelenting commitment to continue providing hope, love, and compassion to those in need.

As the Quran reminds us, “We sent thee (O Muhammad) not, but as a Mercy for all creatures” (Quran 21:107)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also emphasized the importance of caring for the sick, saying, “The best of deeds is to care for the sick.” (Bukhari)
We are committed to upholding these values and making a positive impact on the lives of our beneficiaries.
Conclusion
We look forward to this opportunity to serve humanity and bring joy to the faces of our beneficiaries and their loved ones. We are grateful for the support of our partners, Medics Across Continents (MAC) and National Hospital Abuja (NHA), and we rely on the continued support of our donors, both corporate and individuals, and well-wishers.
May Allah (SWT) guide and bless our efforts, and may we be rewarded for our sincerity and dedication to serving humanity.
Wa salaam.
