Sakinah Medical Outreach (SMO) is deeply grateful to announce that ABDULMALIK KHADIJAT HASSANA, the 14-year-old whose brain tumour treatment we recently shared with you, has successfully undergone her surgery at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, India.

We give thanks to Allah for guiding the hands of her medical team and we thank every one of you whose Zakat, Sadaqah and donations made this journey possible. What began as a frightening diagnosis and an uncertain road has, by the mercy of Almighty Allah, reached this hopeful milestone.

Hassana is now responding well to treatment and is on the path to recovery. Her family, who has walked through fear and uncertainty these past weeks, has asked us to relay their heartfelt gratitude to this community of donors who refused to let them carry this burden alone.

We ask you not to relent and please continue to hold Hassana in your prayers. May Almighty Allah grant her a full and complete healing, restore her strength and return her home well and whole, Insha Allah.

There are still mothers, fathers and children on our waiting list whose own chance at healing depends on support arriving in time.
